We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our company founder

Emil Simmler-Bornhauser

8 MAY 1930 – 22 OCTOBER 2020

Emil Simmler founded our company almost fifty years ago and has had a decisive influence on it. With his far-sighted view, his open communicative manner, his almost boundless wealth of ideas and optimism, he laid the foundation for our internationally successful company.

As a lateral thinker, versatile innovator and always thirsty for knowledge, he has realised unique solutions. With his invention of solvent-free SIMALFA^® adhesives for flexible foam his legacy lives on worldwide.

We will miss Emil and continue to follow his vision of environmentally friendly adhesives.

The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, 28 October 2020 at 2 pm in the Reformed Church Buchberg-Rüdlingen.
